Assam black tea, leaves (Camelia thea Link.)

Black tea undergoes both the fermentation and roasting processes; Assam has a stronger, more substantial flavor.

PREPARATION: Steep one teaspoon of tea for 5 minutes in a cup of hot water; drink in the morning or early in the day.
