Moxa is an ancient practice of traditional Chinese medicine that uses sticks made of seven-year-old Artemisia vulgaris fluff. These sticks produce a very intense heat that stimulates meridian points located throughout the body.
Light the cigar and direct the burning end toward the area to be treated from a suitable distance, providing a pleasant warmth to the patient. Each individual point is typically treated for about 20-30 minutes.
Remove the ash as it forms and carefully extinguish the cigar once the treatment is finished.
