Neutral henna, leaf powder (Cassia obovata Coll./Senna italica Lam.)

PROPERTIES: Henna is used in cosmetics to prepare hair packs. Neutral henna doesn't color the hair, but it nourishes, invigorates, strengthens, and adds shine.

PREPARATION: Mix the henna powder in hot water, the amount varying depending on the length of your hair; the ratio is about 2-3 tablespoons of henna for every tablespoon of water, to form a paste that's neither too runny, which would drip, nor too thick, which would be difficult to spread evenly. Apply to dry hair for about 30-40 minutes, rinse, and shampoo.

WARNING: for best results, it is best if the hair has not undergone any previous chemical treatments.
