    PROPRIETY: Leaves are natural sweeteners 10 to 15 times the sucrose values, without fermentation and without altering the natural color of the foods, with no aftertaste and with charyogenic effects.
    Stevioside and rebaudioside glycosides, responsible for sweet taste, are not absorbed by the human body and are not attacked by oral bacterial flora, so they are devoid of nutritional value and do not increase the percentage of glucose in the blood: they are usable by diabetics.
    In the large intestine, however, they are metabolised by steviol formation, the main glycone eliminated after a slight absorption as glucuronide in the urine. In addition, Stevia leaves maintain stable cholesterol levels in the blood, they are acaloric, adjuvant in slimming, tonic, stomatic, hypoglycemic, hypotensive, antimicrobial, and epidermotropic diets.

    PREPARATION: Let infused infusion 1-5 g leaves for 5 minutes and take several times a day. As decoction, 10 g can be boiled in 1 liter of water.
    A piece of leaf just enough to sweeten a cup of tea or coffee.
    As powder, 0.5 g per day.
