    PROPERTIES: both the roots that the leaves are cholagogue, depurative, diuretic, laxative, used for jaundice, gallstones, its gravel, indicated in visceral congestion. The roots are more effective and therefore most often used.

    PREPARATION: the dose is always a drug teaspoon per cup, but the roots should be done as a decoction while the leaves as a tea.
